texting is it’s simply that you can text them kind of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking of things you want to you can speak about it with your therapist kind of instantaneously and then I think a good part about that is if you have an idea type of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking with your therapist that day or even if you are if you simply wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be actually useful for people with anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it type of offers you a quick outlet for those things and maybe they do not build up in in your mind as much as they may if you need to wait you understand a week to tell your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I really like it for that I would state that’s a big professional um I would state a con related to that same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to speak about if you choose to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling in this manner you know I think it’s because of this or this they might state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists examine there the message place where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or a minimum of my therapist told me that she inspects hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.
get about two reactions a day about like obviously if you’re probably having like a crisis and they have a moment they can probably help you however it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message since essentially they do a lot of these people seem to have maybe not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very instantaneous because regard like discussing things it’s immediate that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest but you may have to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re discussing things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na type of speak about it like a typical discussion however with talk area you may state this and after that it might be 5 hours later and after that they may state oh well this and then it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk just like if you’re making plans with your buddies you understand what I mean like you can call somebody and you can say hey let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know finished with your conversation at five minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something great to think about you understand something that did trouble me a little bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a good bit cheaper than entering to talk to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I might put the actual price like here somebody it has to do with that rate a month to have the live sessions and the texting which includes for that package it is for half an hour live sessions each month so weekly you’ll get a half an hour live session so I indicate it is less time that you’re probably talking truly because like I said it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s kind of good the app itself the user interface is very easy to use I like it I don’t have really any grievances about it aside from possibly like you can’t see if they read it however like I think that does not matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyhow so I do not know that was just something I thought of however that’s.

not very essential but general I do like the user interface and personally my experience with my therapist has been great so far um I mean it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be tough opening to these individuals even if you’re not there personally and you’re not face to face quite as much as you would be with normal normal therapy so I think that it could be harder for people to open up to their therapists if you have trouble opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of trouble opening so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of however I’m uncertain just how much that in fact is simply me having a problem opening to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got weird and I literally can’t make a video without everything failing at the same time however back here so I simply wanted to give some like last ideas I guess I don’t want this to be too long of a video I kind of wanted to provide a quick overview and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I believe it’s a good service I believe it does what it says it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit hard if you have some issues that are appearance I think it’s really great for like tension type of stuff and I haven’t been having a great deal of like that kind of thing like I have actually like been just having a lot of like believe you’re not small however like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I indicate I think I need to’ve stated that earlier but I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized anxiety and then I do not I’m not like detected or anything with anxiety um but I do definitely like depressive ideas and like I actually like to say that I have depression however like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I do not understand it’s summer season here so basically I think it’s truly great if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have a really hectic task or something like that I believe also another actually terrific actually terrific candidate to use talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or possibly you’re taking a trip overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not.
